President & Co-Captain
At the University of Arizona I am the President, Co-Captain, and the Social Media Manager of the Arizona's Women's Club Water Polo Team. I have been playing water polo for about 7 years now however, my experience with the Arizona team has been worthwhile personally and professionally, because I am not only able to bring my business leadership styles and transform them for a different environment for individuals who are not business majors, but the the organization has also allowed me to develop and get experience first-hand in program management. Tasks to being the lead of this team include attending conference calls with the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) and with our competitor teams to schedule our tournament dates, making surveys to collect data on practice plans, hiring the other officers and our coach, setting game warm-ups, and so much more.
I have also been able to make the team be recognized on social media by creating our Instagram, Facebook, and our new official website. With these platforms, we have been able to reach a broad audience of potential team members, and businesses to collaborate for fundraising activities. Check out our digital platforms below.

Peer Academic Leader
At the Eller College of Management, I have been fortunate to be a Peer Academic Leader for the Pre-Professional Academic Communities of Excellence (PACE). This community is for all Pre-Business and Pre-Economic Freshmen students who are aspiring to get accepted into upper-division Eller College as a business student. I have been a Peer Academic Leader for over a year and have had various roles. I have taught Pre-Professional leadership courses and have lead the PREMIER Pre-Business Honorary Program, and continue to promote events and engage in our community through our social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and GroupMe.
My current project is being lead organizer for my Peer Mentoring Program, where I hire upper-division Eller students who have made a positive impact on the Eller College and on their education, and assign them to 1 to 2 students to give advice to. I send students a survey to provide details on their preferences for a mentor, for example, one may want someone who studies Finance, or has an on-campus job. So it is important to take these preferences of the students into consideration when assigning mentors. Being a mentor myself as well, has been rewarding to see students take the advice I and my fellow mentors give to them and see our students utilize them to make them a good candidate for the business school and for their aspiring careers in the business world.

Secretary
I have been a member of the Eller College's Eller Social Media Club since I was a freshman at the University of Arizona, however, this is the first year I have been on the Eboard. Since being on the board I have seen a drastic change in myself from learning research methods in social media, careers in the tech industry, and meeting Eller alumni, from just being a member, to being one to help organize meetings, like reaching out my my connections to be guest speakers, collect data on those who actively attend, and teach the club members my knowledge on how social media impacts every career. My leadership skills have expanded in this role, and has made me more passionate about the club members. I have been able to gain a lot of respect from the board members because they have witnessed seeing myself evolve professionally in stepping up to be a leader in this organization.
Being an active member the past 3 years has allowed me to be chosen to go on our club trips to tech companies, like Microsoft in 2017, and Google, LinkedIn, and 3Q Digital this past year! Also being a part of this club has allowed me to explore volunteer opportunities, like being a part of Eller Make a Difference Day. Overall this club has provided me with knowledge on how social media can be ventures in the tech industry, programming leadership skills, volunteer expenditure, and great connections in the Eller College community.
