About Me
Hi, my name is Helen Matz!
I am currently a Junior majoring in Management Information Systems with a certified specialty in Social Innovation, at the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management. I am originally from Southern California. I grew up in a small town named Agoura Hills. Locals call it "The Bubble" because not a lot of people leave, however I did! I decided to leave to continue my Undergraduate College education in Arizona, and plan to travel while launching my career in the tech industry. University: University of Arizona, Eller College of Management Major: Management Information Systems Certified Specialty: Social Innovation Skills: Google Analytics, Data Regression tool on Microsoft Excel, Canva Digital Designing, WordPress Blogs and Weebly Websites, and proficient in Business Profile Analysis Tool for Facebook and Instagram Business Accounts. Awards: Axel Award Recipient 2018, Eller College of Management Rising Star 2017, Outstanding Leadership Award 2016, and Dean's List. |
My career goals is to be a technological, innovative leader in the tech industry. With this goal, it is important for me to grow my strengths and convert my weaknesses into skills. I do this my being involved within my university and business school as club officers for the Arizona Women's Club Water Polo Team and for the Eller Social Media Club. I also work for my university's business school as a Peer Academic Leader.
I have made it a priority to gain on-field work experience as well the past two summers. I took on my first internship the summer of 2017 at Culture Collide Agency in Los Angeles, California, and I have worked this past summer as a Data Entry and Social Media Specialist for Malibu Island Rentals in Malibu, California.
More details are covered on my Resume, found under my Professional Work tab. Feel free to check out that tab.
Outside of the business suit, you can find me either in the pool playing water polo with my teammates, volunteering around Tucson with my friends, like at Eller Make a Difference Day, or enjoying the beauty of the University of Arizona campus!
